Honeylu’s Estate — Winter Ember Launch Project
A graduate brand strategy & design project created at Illinois Institute of Technology.
The Look of Honeylu’s Estate
The Winter Ember collection began with a single design philosophy:
Elegant simplicity that warms the soul.
Inspired by artisanal micro-lot roasts, I developed a premium aesthetic for Honeylu’s Estate — rich black packaging, warm copper typography, and a provenance label that highlights origin, tasting notes, and craft.
Designing a Seasonal Experience
Winter Ember was crafted to evoke the glow of embers on a cold evening — a perfect blend of Ethiopian single-origin beans with notes of peach, black tea, and honey.
This visual and sensory direction shaped the entire brand system, including typography, color palette, iconography, and messaging.
Warm Hearts, Warm Paws Initiative
One of the pillars of this project was integrating purpose with premium design.
For every Winter Ember product sold, a portion is donated to local shelters to provide knitted hats and blankets for pets in need.
This initiative deepens Honeylu’s long-standing emotional connection with its community.
